Our client has been creating innovative web software applications since 2001 and as business continues to grow, they are looking for a talented, dedicated Digital Project Manager to join their small friendly team working nationally on a varied range of digital website and app projects.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified full-time Digital Project Manager to join the team who will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, including site launches, online tools, web applications, and some non-digital projects.
For this position, we expect you to be technically competent with an in-depth understanding of how software technology, automation, and integrations can help achieve business goals.

You should be comfortable working with small teams of technical developers (both in-house and external), as well as communicating with clients and other partners. You should be methodical and process-minded, with excellent organisational and time-management skills. You should have experience of managing and delivering digital and software projects, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

● Provide end-to-end project management
● Scope project requirements and prepare budget
● Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress
● Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
● Deliver projects on time ensuring quality standards and budgets are met
● Develop support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications
● Ability to manage multiple on current projects
● Measure project progress
● Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
● Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
● Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects and processes
● Liaise and update business owner on key areas and developments
● Manage ongoing support enquiries

Essential Skills and Experience

Proven work experience managing software development projects, working with developer (Internal & external) as a Digital project manager

● Hands on experience with project management software
● Experience being a client’s primary contact and managing client relationships
● Interpret client briefs, write specifications and proposals
● Familiarity with Content Management systems and HTML/CSS
● Understanding of SEO and Google Analytics
● Technical background and ability to address accessibility and compatibility issues
● Excellent organisation and time management skills
● Communication and team management skills
● Excellent planning, documentation and organisation skills

Personal Skills

A proven track record is essential with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Experience of understanding commercial requirements
Working in software delivery
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational, documentation and communication skills
Experience of delivering a range of small to large scale digital platforms and services using a variety of methodologies
