Digital ​Marketing ​Executive

Our client Papertrail​ ​is​ ​looking​ ​for​ ​an​ ​experienced​ ​Digital​ ​Marketing​ ​Executive​ ​to
enhance​ ​and​ ​increase​ ​the​ ​company’s​ ​online​ ​presence.​ ​The​ ​Digital​ ​Marketing
Executive​ ​will​ ​sit​ ​within​ ​the​ ​Marketing​ ​Department​ ​reporting​ ​directly​ ​to​ ​the
Marketing​ ​Director​ ​and​ ​will​ ​be​ ​required​ ​to​ ​carry​ ​out​ ​tasks​ ​to​ ​drive​ ​online
engagement​ ​to​ ​achieve​ ​key​ ​company​ ​goals.

A​ ​growing​ ​SaaS​ ​platform,​ ​Papertrail​ ​was​ ​created​ ​out​ ​of​ ​the​ ​need​ ​to​ ​find​ ​an
easier,​ ​more​ ​efficient​ ​ ​way​ ​to​ ​keep​ ​accurate​ ​records​ ​and​ ​demonstrate
compliance​ ​for​ ​equipment​ ​inspections​ ​and​ ​audits.
Today,​ ​organisations​ ​worldwide​ ​have​ ​implemented​ ​Papertrail​ ​to​ ​drive
business​ ​efficiencies​ ​and​ ​optimise​ ​compliance​ ​by​ ​managing​ ​equipment
inspections,​ ​certification​ ​and​ ​safety​ ​records.

Job​ ​Title:​ ​Digital​ ​Marketing​ ​Executive

Standard​ ​Office​ ​Hours:​ ​ ​Full​ ​Time.
Standard​ ​office​ ​hours​ ​0900​ ​–​ ​1700​ ​includes​ ​a​ ​1​ ​hour​ ​lunch
Base/Location:​ ​ ​​Newcastle​ ​or​ ​remote​ ​working​ ​a​ ​possible​ ​option
for​ ​the​ ​right​ ​candidate

Duration:​ ​90​ ​day​ ​initial​ ​contract.​ ​Progressing​ ​to​ ​full​ ​time​ ​employment,​ ​on
achieving​ ​agreed​ ​objectives.

Annual​ ​Salary:​ ​ ​Indicative​ ​with​ ​skills​ ​and​ ​experience
Holidays:​ ​4​ ​Weeks​ ​(20​ ​working​ ​days)​ ​plus​ ​Bank​ ​Holidays,​ ​in​ ​the​ ​12​ ​months
from​ ​full​ ​time​ ​employment​ ​starting.

Start​ ​Date:​ ​ ​February​ ​2018

Responsibilities​ ​to​ ​include:
● ‘Go-to’​ ​person​ ​for​ ​all​ ​digital​ ​marketing​ ​ ​requests​ ​and​ ​tasks​ ​from​ ​Papertrail

● Ongoing​ ​maintenance​ ​of​ ​company​ ​website

● Creation​ ​and​ ​broadcast​ ​of​ ​email​ ​newsletter​ ​and​ ​campaigns

● Management​ ​of​ ​all​ ​social​ ​media​ ​platforms​ ​to​ ​increase​ ​following,
awareness​ ​and​ ​create​ ​promotional​ ​campaigns​ ​to​ ​generate​ ​new​ ​business

● Lead​ ​all​ ​digital​ ​marketing​ ​activities​ ​primarily​ ​through​ ​means​ ​such​ ​as​ ​SEO,
social​ ​media,​ ​affiliate​ ​marketing,​ ​email​ ​marketing​ ​and​ ​content​ ​marketing
● CPC​ ​campaign​ ​planning,​ ​execution,​ ​management​ ​and​ ​reporting

● Contribute​ ​to​ ​the​ ​planning​ ​and​ ​execution​ ​of​ ​marketing​ ​campaigns​ ​using​ ​a
range​ ​of​ ​outbound​ ​and​ ​inbound​ ​marketing​ ​activity​ ​for​ ​example:​ ​email
marketing,social​ ​media​ ​and​ ​industry​ ​events

● Work​ ​with​ ​the​ ​product​ ​management,​ ​sales​ ​and​ ​marketing​ ​teams​ ​to
ensure​ ​new​ ​product​ ​features​ ​and​ ​functionality​ ​are​ ​launched​ ​online​ ​and
promoted​ ​in​ ​an​ ​effective​ ​manner

● Support​ ​the​ ​marketing​ ​department​ ​with​ ​the​ ​creation​ ​of​ ​any​ ​other​ ​ad-hoc
digital​ ​assets​ ​or​ ​requirements

● Weekly,​ ​monthly,​ ​quarterly​ ​analytics​ ​reporting​ ​and​ ​recommendations​ ​to
continue​ ​to​ ​improve​ ​success

Desired​ ​Skills​ ​and​ ​Experience:
● Experience​ ​within​ ​a​ ​broad​ ​marketing​ ​role​ ​both​ ​online​ ​and​ ​offline
experience​ ​preferred

● Previous​ ​experience​ ​in​ ​a​ ​similar​ ​role​ ​preferred

● Experience​ ​of​ ​managing​ ​a​ ​portfolio​ ​of​ ​products​ ​including​ ​‘go-to​ ​market’
planning,​ ​specifications​ ​and​ ​sales​ ​performance​ ​monitoring

● Strong​ ​knowledge​ ​of​ ​digital​ ​technologies​ ​and​ ​analytics​ ​packages

● Demonstrable​ ​project​ ​management​ ​and​ ​organisational​ ​skills

● Ability​ ​to​ ​liaise​ ​closely​ ​with​ ​partners​ ​and​ ​other​ ​departments​ ​whilst​ ​coping
well​ ​under​ ​pressure​ ​to​ ​work​ ​to​ ​tight​ ​deadlines​ ​on​ ​numerous​ ​projects

● Excellent​ ​verbal​ ​and​ ​written​ ​skills​ ​and​ ​communicating​ ​at​ ​all​ ​levels

Technical/Platform​ ​knowledge​ ​and​ ​experience:
● The​ ​Papertrail​ ​applications

● Hootsuite

● Google​ ​analytics

● Marketo​ ​/​ ​Hubspot​ ​or​ ​similar

● Salesforce

● InDesign​ ​a​ ​desirable​ ​asset,​ ​but​ ​not​ ​essential

● Self-starter​ ​with​ ​the​ ​ability​ ​to​ ​work​ ​on​ ​own​ ​initiative​ ​and​ ​as​ ​part​ ​of​ ​an
established​ ​team
